Ted '86 P'16 and Kiki P'16 Kennedy Host Hyannis Port Reception

July 20, 2016

On August 22, Ted '86 P'16 and Kiki P'16 Kennedy hosted a celebratory event to thank some of Wesleyan's generous donors, whose contributions helped the University surpass $300 million in fundraising this spring.

The gracious hosts opened up their home for a reception and dinner in Hyannis Port, Mass., to campaign leaders, Wesleyan President Michael S. Roth, and University Professor of Letters Kari Weil.

As a special treat, Ted Kennedy led a walking tour of the Kennedy Compound while sharing stories about the family and its personal and political history. President Roth spoke about exciting developments at Wesleyan, including the Class of 2017 starting this fall; the school’s foray into massive open online courses (MOOCs); and the $400 million THIS IS WHY campaign.
